About Aniko

Aniko Kaszas is a 26 year old actress hailing from Budapest, Hungary, and currently working in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

She began her performance career at the tender age of four, when she appeared in an experimental production called, “Tantrum on the Kitchen Floor” (to which only her parents and sister came). Years later, with real parts and real audiences, Aniko began making a name for herself as a kick-ass actress willing to play with swords, fists, and fire. As a certified actor/combatant with FDC, Aniko could often be found fake punching people, accidentally walking face first into doors, and falling down stairs into ovens.

More recently, however, Aniko has been focusing on exploring a great range of characters on film. Her true passion has always been acting, and by stepping away from physical fights in favour of emotional journeys, she has found her true calling.

Among her favourite past roles, she does not list the part of the evil stepsister in a French production of Cinderella. That's probably because she accidentally spoke a line in English one night. She does have fond memories of playing Julie in “I do?”, Lucy in "The Country Wife", Doll Common in “Disorderly Womyn”, and Sylvie Paquette in “Flowers” at Brampton’s Rose Theatre.

This year, she will be filming the feature length production ‘Sharon’, in which she will be playing the title role. A psychological drama, it’s sure to be a challenge, but also an incredible journey.
